Makal Jewellery
Makal is an ethical and RJC certified jewellery brand, designed in Italy and based in London. They came to us for a rebrand of their digital assets with two goals. The first was to identify a unique and distinctive communication message, that is the rarity and preciousness of the Gold Nuggets. The second was to create a warmer and more approachable brand, even though its high positioning and high-priced jewellery pieces.
As a result we overhauled the visual identity and positioning of Makal Jewellery together with its digital channels management.

“Down to Earth” is Makal’s campaign that features the new Batea Collection and was presented during London Fashion week.

Makal’s core philosophy is based on the principle of ethical mining and responsible sourcing; these values translate into this new capsule collection where the bracelet’s cord is made from recycled plastic and the Gold Nugget is untreated and captured naturally from rivers .
A capsule comprising of three bracelets, that stand for hope, strength and resilience, particularly important during this time in history; and each attribute is associated to a natural element — water for hope, stones for strength and rope for resilience.
